The RCC Faculty Senate is now accepting nominations from the college community—including staff, students, faculty and administrators—for the 2024–25 Faculty Senate Recognition of Excellence Awards.
These awards honor the contributions of adjunct, professional and full-time faculty members to students, the institution, peers and the broader community.
For the 2024–25 academic year, four faculty members will be selected for recognition. Nominators do not need to select a specific category, but nominations may reflect excellence in the following areas:
- Student Engagement and Advocacy
- Excellence in Teaching
- Community Engagement and Partnership
- Inspiration
In your submission, please include detailed examples of how your nominee raises the bar of excellence and positively impacts you and the RCC community. Portions of your comments may be quoted during the award presentations.
Awards will be presented on May 9, 2025, during RCC’s spring inservice, with additional recognition at the annual Faculty Senate luncheon on May 30, 2025.
These awards are not monetary but are a meaningful acknowledgment of the distinctive talents and contributions our faculty share with students and colleagues.
