The RCC Foundation is pleased to announce the addition of two new directors to its governing board, comprising 16 local business and community leaders. Laura Magstadt and Jennifer Krauss Phillippi were appointed in fall 2017 to three-year terms that run through June 2020.
Magstadt is the vice president of nursing at Asante Three Rivers Medical Center in Grants Pass. She has more than 13 years of hospital-based leadership experience and serves as the Southern Oregon Council representative to the Northwest Organization of Nurse Executives Board. She holds a master’s degree in nursing and an M.B.A. in health care administration.
Phillippi is the former CEO and co-owner of Rough & Ready Lumber Company and currently serves as president of her family’s forestlands business, Perpetua Forests Company. She has served on several industry Phillippi boards, including the Oregon Board of Forestry and the Oregon Forest & Industries Council; she previously served on RCC’s capital campaign. Phillippi holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Oregon and is a certified public accountant.
“This is a great opportunity for me to continue my education and reach my goal of becoming a parole/probation officer. I would like to thank you for investing in my future and helping me achieve success on my personal and professional journey.”
