The Commission on Dental Accreditation (CODA) recently completed its thorough review of RCC’s Dental Hygiene and Dental Assistant programs, which involved a comprehensive application process and a two-day site visit. Based on their findings, both programs received verbal notice of initial accreditation on Thursday, Aug. 15. As a result, six courses within the Dental Assistant program can now be transferred to the new Dental Hygiene program.
Applications for the Dental Hygiene program opened on Monday, Aug. 19, and will close on Monday, Aug. 26. If all spots are not filled by this date, the application window will remain open until the program reaches full capacity.
