The next round of Creative Commons Certificate courses starts Sept. 23.

Registration is open for Open Texas, held virtually Sept. 25-27. 

Registration is open for OEGlobal24, taking place in person in Brisbane Australia, Nov. 13-15. Early bird registration closes Sept. 15 and general registration closes Nov. 3. 

Calls for proposals in the open education field

Open Education Global seeks nominations for its Board of Directors. Open Oregon Educational Resources is an institutional member which means that anyone affiliated with a public community college or university is eligible. Open Oregon Educational Resources is not able to cover travel for meetings. Nominations are due Aug. 24 by 5 p.m. 

The MIT OpenCourseWare Collaborations Program seeks abstracts for the AI + Open Education Initiative. Proposals are due Sept. 1. 

The Institute of Museum and Library Services Notice of Funding Opportunity is available for National Leadership Grants for Libraries and the Laura Bush 21st Century Librarian Program. Preliminary proposals for both grants are due Sept. 20.
