Upcoming professional development hosted by Open Oregon Educational Resources:
- Equity and Open Education Teaching & Learning Support Cohort Registration. Join a statewide two-part Equity and Open Education Teaching & Learning Support Cohort. Participants will earn a $200 stipend upon completion of “Part 1 – Explore” and will have the option to earn an additional $300 stipend in “Part 2 – Implement.” Register by Feb. 3, 2025.
- Preservice Faculty Drop-In. Join a community of practice focused on preparing preservice teachers to be equity-minded open educators when they enter the classroom! Feb. 5, 12-1 p.m.
- Opt-In Models for Automatic Textbook Billing. Join this webinar for an update on federal rule-making along with case studies of two institutions that have successfully implemented opt-in models. Feb. 6, 11 a.m. to 12 p.m.
- Virtual OER Review Workshop registration is open. Attend a workshop on one of three dates: Feb.10, 2-3 p.m.; Feb. 12, 12-1 p.m.; or Feb.13, 5-6 p.m. After the workshop, you’ll receive a stipend for writing a review of an open educational resource.
- OER Course Redesign Training: Open Ed Week Sprint Registration. Redesign your course with OER in a one-week sprint and earn a $750 stipend! Register by Feb. 24.
