Each year, the Ford Family Foundation awards more than 250 renewable scholarships to exceptional students from Oregon and Siskiyou County, California. The following are current RCC students who were honored with the outstanding scholarship award for the 2024-25 academic year!
Ford Transfer Scholars

The Ford Transfer Scholars Program is an undergraduate scholarship available to community college students who work hard and are ready to transfer to a four-year college. This is a renewable scholarship that covers a significant amount of a student’s unmet need for the overall cost of attendance at their college of choice.

The Ford Opportunity Scholars Program is an undergraduate scholarship available to parents of any age or adult learners who have a goal of earning an associate or bachelor’s degree. This too is a renewable scholarship covering a large portion of unmet need in the 2024-25 academic year and beyond. Of the nine RCC students who received a Ford scholarship, five of these students are TRIO SSS/University Transfer program participants.
