There will be an herbicide treatment on designated flower beds at the Redwood and Table Rock campuses.
The grounds crew will be performing the following herbicide treatment Thursday through Sunday, Aug. 24-27, 2023 (weather permitting), between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m.
Area: Designated flower beds. The grounds crew will be marking out areas with approved warning signs.
Problem: Weeds compete with desired plants for water and nutrients.
Treatments:
- “Avenger” (reg. #92967-1), an organic weed killer used in ecologically sensitive areas.
- “Gly Star Plus” (EPA reg. #42750-61), a sprayed systemic weed killer.
