The American Association for Women in Community Colleges – Rogue Community College Chapter (AAWCC-RCC) is excited to invite you to become a member. Our mission is to challenge, champion and celebrate each other. We value the talents within each of us and work to provide training, mentorship and camaraderie for all who are interested in promoting gender-balanced leadership in the Oregon community college system. While our focus is on empowering women, we warmly welcome individuals of all genders who share our commitment to equity and professional growth.
How AAWCC-RCC Empowers Our Community
- Professional Development: We offer opportunities for personal and leadership training, including participation in the annual Oregon Institute for Leadership Development (OILD), a four-day conference focusing on comprehensive leadership training.
- Networking Events: Attend social and educational events to connect with a diverse group of local and state professionals.
- Fundraising for Student Scholarships: Engage in fundraising efforts, such as our $1 Clothing Sale, to support RCC student scholarships and programs.

Join Us Today
Becoming a member is easy! The membership period runs from Jan. 1 through Dec. 31. We ask that members volunteer at least two hours of their time for one of our fundraising events within the year. Membership fees are as follows:
- Student membership: $10 per year.
- Staff/community member membership: $25 per year.
RCC employees can use their professional growth funds to cover membership fees. If you need assistance with this process, please let us know.
