Because: Jess is a problem solver. Her innovative ideas and great work ethic spans other departments as she lowers barriers to student success. She collaborates with coworkers to identify innovative ways in which we can help students access their financial aid and scholarship money and maintain their eligibility.

Recognizing: Tyler Tull

Reason: Tyler Tull is always helpful with repairs or other issues regarding Riverside Campus safety/maintenance. For instance, during heavy rains recently, a faculty office on the third floor was damaged by rain, the lunch area had wet ceiling panels that collapsed and a classroom had a leak. Tyler was great in helping to resolve the leak by cleaning up the affected areas, promptly contacting a roofing company, then doing the final ceiling repairs and helping the faculty member with damage to the desk from the water leak. He’s reliable and goes the extra mile to help or solve problems in other situations as well.

Reason: Nikki met with me and addressed questions I had about advising. I wholly appreciate her spirit of collaboration and I definitely learned new things.
