I am pleased to announce the call center has moved to the Admissions and Recruitment department. You can now find the call center and its lead, Angel Woods, at Rogue Central at the Redwood Campus. Many of you may already know Angel, as she has been a part of RCC for many years. She started her RCC journey in 1992, taking marine biology while still in high school. She accepted her first real RCC position as a part-time classified employee in 1998 as the switchboard operator. Due to budget cuts in 2007, Angel had the opportunity to go to school at RCC where she earned two associates degrees. She also held various temporary positions on campus until 2016 when she returned to the phones as the call center administrative assistant housed in the Marketing department. As of July 1, 2023, she joined the Admissions and Recruitment team, bringing with her a wealth of RCC knowledge and customer service experience.
Angel’s duties include supporting the Redwood Campus Rogue Central building staff and students; answering the main lines for the RCC Call Center, as well as Admissions and Recruitment; reviewing and approving your 25Live calendar events for publishing to the RCC public calendar; and making college-wide closure signs. If you need to make changes to the listings on the RCC online directory, those are now going through the IT department via a Help Desk ticket.
Outside of work, Angel enjoys spending time with her family and gardening. We are excited to welcome Angel to the Admissions and Recruitment team!
