Name: Frankie Everett, Tanya Salas-Gonzalez, Rose Passione, Bernyne Wright
Core Values: Integrity; Collaboration; Courage
Reason: I have felt so welcome and have enjoyed this first month with the Financial Aid team and I am so excited to continue working with you all and learning all of the things you all have to offer and share! Name: Chauncie Barlow
Core Values: Integrity; Collaboration; Diversity, Equity and Inclusion; Sustainability; Courage
Reason: Chauncie has been my “go-to” person in Allied Health when I’ve needed questions answered or need to have paperwork reviewed for College Now classes. Chauncie asks good questions for a better understanding of College Now processes and expectations. She is timely in her responses to my email requests and has never turned down an opportunity to meet with a new College Now teacher for onboarding or to give a tour to Early College students. Chauncie’s professionalism and positivity is greatly appreciated and recognized. Thank you for all you do for students, Chauncie!
Name: Michelle Gray
Core Values: Integrity; Collaboration; Sustainability; Courage
Reason: Michelle works so effectively to coordinate strategies for student success in multiple departments (i.e. Financial Aid and Student Records). She helps many of our most at-risk students determine work/life balance and what degree will serve them best. Michelle helps students gain a realistic understanding of how much their degree will cost, how much Financial Aid they may have access to and how long their goals will take to accomplish.
Name: Martin Christensen
Core Values: Sustainability
Reason: Our RCC IT folks are always there to help! They are quick to make things happen when technology issues arise. When my laptop just quit, he was prompt in finding a loaner solution for me so that travel could continue between campuses with very little disruption. Thank you, Marty and IT Department!!
Name: Donald Tiller and Martin Christensen
Core Values: Collaboration
Reason: I cannot emphasize enough how important these two IT guys have been as I started my career in nursing education. Any question or need I have they have addressed quickly and effectively. As the newbie on the block, getting acquainted with the SimLab was super daunting. Marty and Don spent hours with me up there helping me navigate the control room and the SimPads. The future of our SimLab should most definitely involve these two lovely gentlemen!
Name: Paula Brooks
Core Values: Collaboration
Reason: Paula fielded approximately 1,000 emails from me to help me get prepared to travel for a conference in January. I so appreciate all she did to help me navigate the complexities of professional travel. Paula, I owe you a coffee! Thank you so much!
