The RCC Music Department presents Piano Trio Concert at Rogue Auditorium on Tuesday, July 11, 2023, at 7 p.m. Admission is a suggested donation of $25; $10 for students; free for children 12 and under as well as full-time RCC students with student ID.
Chiharu Sai, music coordinator and music faculty at RCC, will be collaborating with her professional colleagues, violinist Abigail Wilensky and cellist Michal Palzewicz, both performing in Rogue Valley Symphony and Jefferson Baroque Orchestra.
Palzewicz and Sai have performed extensively as Duo Sapphire in Northern California and Southern Oregon between 2013-2016. With Wilensky added to form this piano trio, the concert will consist of delightful compositions for piano trio as well as various pieces by Bartók, Elgar, Gliere, Shostakovich, Granados and Rubinstein.
