RCC to Host Poverty Simulation

RCC will be hosting another Poverty Simulation after the success of last year’s event. The Poverty Simulation provides a unique opportunity for participants to gain insight into the challenges faced by individuals living in poverty.

The event will take place at the Josephine County Fairgrounds, in the Floral Building, on July 16, 2024, from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Lunch will be provided at no cost. Reserve your spot early by registering online.

Please note there is a limited capacity of 105 participants and seats are filling up quickly.

In addition to inviting RCC students, faculty and staff, we are extending this invitation to benefits navigators and their supervisors across the state of Oregon, vocational rehabilitation employees and other community members who may be interested. This collaborative effort will provide valuable insights and foster meaningful discussions on addressing poverty-related issues.
