JACKSON COUNTY (April 22, 2025) – The Rogue Community College (RCC) Dental Hygiene Program is offering free dental sealants at the Table Rock Campus dental clinic in White City. This opportunity provides hands-on experience for students in the RCC Dental Hygiene Program while offering an important community service.
Appointments are available April 30 from 8 a.m. to noon and May 2 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. All ages are welcome. To make an appointment, contact the RCC Dental Hygiene Clinic at 541-755-7577 or dentalinfo@roguecc.edu. Appointments are limited, so early scheduling is encouraged.
Dental sealants are thin protective coatings painted on the chewing surfaces of molars to prevent cavities by sealing out food and bacteria. The sealants will be applied by dental hygiene students under the supervision of licensed dental professionals, ensuring a safe and educational experience for everyone involved. These clinics are a crucial part of the students’ training, preparing them to excel in their future careers as dental hygienists.
RCC launched a two-year associate degree dental hygiene program in fall 2024. For more information about RCC Dental Programs, visit www.roguecc.edu/dental.
