Rogue Community College will distribute $600,000 in federal relief funds to eligible students enrolled in summer term classes. This second round of stimulus funding is authorized by the Coronavirus Response and Relief Supplemental Appropriations Act (CRRSAA) to support students with exceptional need due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Students enrolled in summer term at RCC may be eligible to receive a one-time grant of $750. RCC is referring to this fund as the COVID Relief Grant II. These grants do not need to be repaid and do not affect a student’s current or future financial aid eligibility.
To receive the COVID Relief Grant II, students must apply and confirm the funds will be used for education or emergency-related expenses incurred due to the COVID-19 pandemic, such as tuition, course materials, food, housing, health care, childcare, transportation or technology-related expenses.
Students may access the application at https://www.roguecc.edu/RCCfinAid/covid.asp. The grants are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Application processing will begin Aug. 2 and continue until funds are depleted.
