Once registered, you will receive a calendar invite and email confirmation with logistical details. A light breakfast with coffee/tea service and lunch will be provided.
The Inclusive Hiring Workshop aims to establish a theoretical foundation of research about implicit bias and diversity, information about the changing legal landscape in hiring and an overview of inclusive hiring practices within the context of our regular search committee process. All employees are encouraged to participate in the workshop so long as their supervisor approves. There is no requirement to serve as a search committee member upon completing the series.
As a reminder, we have formalized our inclusive hiring efforts by requiring that each search committee include at least one member who has completed the workshop within two years of the search.
