Spring Inservice: Agenda, Breakout Registration Alert and Call for Slides

Spring Inservice – What You Need to Get Ready for the Day!

Spring Inservice is just around the corner! Here’s your guide to what’s happening, how to prepare and when to register.

Call for Welcome Slides

Have an important update or announcement to share during Spring Inservice? Submit your slide(s) to Cara at clumpkin@roguecc.edu by end of day Monday, May 5.

These slides are a great way to highlight exciting happenings in your department or educate the college about important information or resources.

Prepare for the raffle prizes of your dreams!

As always, the RCC Foundation is generously sponsoring this year’s raffle—and there are four ways to earn one ticket each, for a maximum of four entries:

  1. Attending Spring Inservice
  2. Be a current Rogue Hero
  3. Bring two (2) donations for Ossie’s Cupboard
    • Hygiene or Household items are especially appreciated.
    • We cannot accept opened, expired, or repackaged items.
    • No baby items (food/formula) or items needing refrigeration.
  4. Bring ten (10) recyclable cans or bottles to support RCC Athletics
  5. Ensure all containers are rinsed and free of garbage.

NEW Health & Wellness BINGO Raffle

The Health & Wellness Committee is also raffling off prizes! To participate, just play Wellness BINGO:

  • Pick up your bingo card during the morning session
  • Complete activities throughout the day
  • Return your card by 4:30 p.m. to enter the drawing

Breakout Registration Opens Monday, May 5

Heads up—this year’s registration window is tighter than usual.

Breakout session registration will open on Monday, May 5, just a few days ahead of Spring Inservice on May 9. Normally, we offer a two-week registration window, but this year’s compressed timeline reflects some extra behind-the-scenes work to build sessions around the topics and ideas submitted during planning.

While not everyone who suggested a topic signed up to present, we’ve done our best to bring those ideas to life with the right facilitators and formats. Keep an eye on your inbox Monday for the full session list and signup link.

Engagement Sessions: Pause, Connect, Recharge

After a full and energizing morning of presentations, we’re building in time for something a little different: Engagement Sessions.

This isn’t your typical session block—it’s a chance to recharge, explore and connect in a way that works for you. Think of it as a structured break with options—low-stakes, open-ended and designed to help you reset for the rest of the day. No registration required and you’re welcome to move between activities.

Plus: Spring into Hydration!

Also kicking off during Engagement Sessions, the Health & Wellness Committee will host a special Hydration Station to help you refresh and reset for the upcoming breakouts. It’s a great opportunity to grab a drink, chat with colleagues and ease into the next block of sessions with renewed energy.

(Don’t worry, the usual selection of drinks will still be available during lunch).
