The Rogue Way – We’ve Got a Map and We’ve Made It to Basecamp

Over the past few weeks, behind-the-scenes work has focused on making the digital work experience at RCC more organized, consistent and easier to navigate.

Now, the college is halfway there—and ready to share two big updates.

First: RCC Now Has a “Map”

The Rogue Way now has a dedicated home on the intranet—your official Rogue Way Map. Here, employees will find:

  • Reusable templates for meetings, forms and documents.
  • Clear naming conventions to make files and Teams easier to locate.
  • Step-by-step guidance for setting up and managing Teams spaces.

No need to memorize everything—just bookmark the map.

Visit the RCC Intranet to access all Rogue Way resources.

Second: Welcome to Basecamp (Microsoft Teams)

If you’re part of a project, department or working group, chances are you’re already using Microsoft Teams. But are you using it like a true basecamp?

A strong basecamp:

  • Has clear channels and pinned tabs so you always know where to look.
  • Uses shared templates to save time and stay consistent.
  • Relies on clear file names so you never wonder, “Is this the right version?”
  • Keeps everyone moving in the same direction—without digital chaos.

That’s what The Rogue Way brings to Teams. It’s not about adding more—it’s about making the tools you already use work better.

Why This Matters

The college is building a shared digital trail system so that, no matter where employees work, collaboration feels familiar. That means:

  • Tools that are ready to use.
  • Files that are easy to find.
  • A Teams space that feels like home base—not a maze.

What You Can Do Today

  • Check out the map.
  • Explore your Teams setup and consider potential improvements.

We’re halfway up the mountain—and your basecamp is ready.
