Transition to Protected Leave Absence Management Services with The Standard

Starting this month, RCC is partnering with The Standard to manage all employee-protected leaves, including Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), state-mandated leaves and other applicable leaves, along with Paid Family and Medical Leave (PFML). This change is part of our ongoing effort to streamline the leave process and provide employees with improved services and resources.

Key Points:

  • Reporting Absences: Employees should report any qualifying leave (such as for a serious health condition or family care) directly to The Standard by visiting standard.com/absence or calling 866-756-8116. Our group policy number is 762206, and our group ID is 10021845.
  • What to Expect: After reporting your leave, The Standard will send the necessary documentation and guide you through the next steps. The Absence Management Service Center is available Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. ET.
  • Internal Procedures: In addition to reporting your leave to The Standard, continue to follow your department’s call-in procedure for reporting absences. You will also need to submit leave requests through ADP or complete a PDF/paper leave request form, as applicable.
