🌺 Dia de los Muertos ofrenda displays (all campuses) — All day — Dia de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) is a holiday that remembers friends and family who have passed. Try some pan dulce (sweet bread) and take home a sugar skull sticker and marigold confetti. We invite you to bring a small photo of a departed loved one to include on the ofrenda displays located in the RWC Wiseman Center, RVC Library and TRC atrium.

💡 Innovation Jam (CraterWorks Makerspace) — 9 a.m. — Student innovators from RCC and SOU will meet up, form teams, brainstorm and devise solutions in a fast-paced, interactive innovation jam advised by business leaders, innovators and educators from around the state. Learn more and register here.

🎉 National First-Generation College Student Day (all campuses) — 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. — We’re celebrating students who are the first in their families to go to college! Stop by for games, raffle prizes and food, and learn about TRIO programs. Parties will be held in the RWC Student Center; RVC Higher Education Center, room 129; and the TRC A Building atrium.

🇺🇸 Veterans Appreciation Days (RWC, TRC) — 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. — RCC Military Services invites you to stop by the Military Resource Centers at Table Rock Campus on Wednesday, Nov. 8 or Redwood Campus on Nov. 9 to celebrate our veterans. All are welcome. There will be food, drawings and swag. Donations of new socks will be collected to send to active-duty military and there will be a food drive for Ossie’s Cupboard. Sign up by Nov. 13 to reserve a free bag with all the fixings for a Thanksgiving meal including a frozen turkey, stuffing, gravy, vegetable sides, rolls and a pumpkin pie.
