We are thrilled to welcome Bryce Schoppert as a new full-time member of the RCC team.
Originally from coastal Southern California, Bryce spent many summers in Brookings with family before deciding to make a permanent move to Southern Oregon. Enamored by the region’s abundant natural beauty and outdoor opportunities, the transition quickly felt like home.
Shortly after relocating, Bryce enrolled in RCC’s Industrial Welding program and earned an Associate of Applied Science degree while working as a student worker in the weld shop. That experience sparked a lasting connection to the program and its community, ultimately leading to a role as a lab instructor. Now, we are excited to welcome Bryce into a full-time position where that dedication and enthusiasm will continue to shine.
Blending professional pursuits with personal passion, Bryce brings a well-rounded energy to the TRC weld shop. Outside of work, Bryce enjoys mountain biking, hiking, camping, surfing, skiing, crafting, wrenching on vehicles, and spending quality time with family, friends and his dog.
