We are excited to announce the appointment of Jared Leard as the Director of Facilities Management, Planning and Construction (FMPC) for our Jackson County campuses. Jared began his role on Oct. 21, 2024, and is based at Table Rock Campus. He can be reached at JLeard@roguecc.edu.
Born and raised in the Rogue Valley, Jared developed a passion for construction early on while working with his father. After graduating from Crater High School, he gained experience in building and construction before enrolling at RCC to pursue a career in emergency services. Jared served as an ambulance operator in Josephine County for 11 years.
Despite his commitment to emergency services, Jared stayed connected to the construction industry, working on various projects in his spare time. In 2013, he fully returned to the field, taking on a leadership role as Facilities, Building and Construction Manager for a local company. During this time, he expanded his expertise, implemented new processes and completed HVAC training at RCC.
Outside of work, Jared is a devoted family man. He has been married to his wife, Lora, for 21 years, and they have two sons: Ryan, who is serving in the Navy, and Gavan, who is pursuing an automotive degree at RCC. In his free time, Jared enjoys exploring new places with family and friends.
Please join us in welcoming Jared to the team and wishing him success in his new role.
