New Role for Katelyn Bender

Rogue Community College welcomes Katelyn Bender as the new director of apprenticeship. Bender has been with RCC for six years, first as a student employee and then for four years as the program support specialist for RCC Apprenticeship Programs.

With a passion for higher education, she is excited to step into the director role and lead the department in providing quality training opportunities that support the region’s workforce. Bender earned an Associate of Arts Oregon Transfer (AAOT) degree from RCC before completing a bachelor’s degree in business administration at Eastern Oregon University.

In her free time, she enjoys traveling, reading, attending concerts and sporting events, going to the beach and spending time outdoors.

Stop by the Apprenticeship department at Table Rock Campus to say hello and welcome her to the new role.
