Andrea “Drea” Enriquez
Drea Enriquez, from South Lake Tahoe, California, is a proud RCC Dental Assisting graduate and now a full-time faculty member in RCC’s Dental Programs. She is currently completing her bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration from Western Governors University. Outside of work, Drea enjoys baking, exploring the outdoors, and is an adventurous foodie, always on the hunt for her next favorite snack. An avid kayaker and snowboarder, she cherishes life in the Sierra Nevada. Drea is also excitedly expecting her first child, a baby boy.

Sammi Snyder
With 27 years in dental hygiene and seven years as an adjunct faculty member, Sammi Snyder brings her passion for oral health to RCC in a full-time role. She is thrilled to inspire the next generation of dental professionals. Outside of work, Sammi enjoys family time with her three daughters, her granddaughter and her husband, especially on trips to Disneyland.

Claudia Cervantes
Originally from Mexico, Claudia Cervantes has more than 25 years of experience in education. In Southern Oregon, she has worked as a preschool teacher, Migrant Preschool Specialist and Early Development Specialist and she recently served as a two-way immersion teacher at Jewett Elementary. Claudia has published two books in Spanish and is pursuing an MBA in Human Resources. In her free time, she enjoys swimming, hiking and cooking with family and friends.

Tricia Black
Tricia Black grew up in California and Southern Oregon and now lives in Grants Pass. She holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in education, with an English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) endorsement. Tricia previously taught first grade and English Language Development in Central Point and Medford schools. She loves sports, especially baseball, as well as traveling, cooking and reading academic journals.

Liz Novicky
Liz Novicky, a 25-year nursing professional, joins RCC as Nursing Simulation Lab Coordinator. She started as a Certified Nursing Assistant, then became a Registered Nurse before earning Bachelor’s of Science degree in Nursing, eventually completing a master’s degree in Nursing Education. Liz spent 14 years teaching nursing at Lane Community College. Now based in Crescent City, she enjoys hiking, gardening, cross-country skiing and traveling, having visited 35 countries and completed treks in Europe, Asia and the Americas.

Shantelle Taylor
Known as “Shanni” to her family, Shantelle Taylor completed her Licensed Practical Nursing and Registered Nursing programs at RCC, followed by a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Nursing in 2020. She’s set to finish her Master’s of Science degree in Nursing Leadership and Management in 2025. Shantelle has worked in skilled nursing, critical care and clinical documentation, and discovered her passion for teaching and leadership along the way. Outside of work, she enjoys caring for house plants, reading, crafting and spending time with her husband, their three dogs and a cat.
