It’s time for fall term!
Dear RCC student,
The weather is cooling down and pumpkin spice is everywhere. Must be time for fall! Here at RCC, it’s our favorite season β fall means students will be back on campus soon. In fact, classes start next week! We’ve put together some tips to help you get off to a great start:
π It’s important to attend every class during the first week; missing class could result in you being administratively dropped from your courses. If you cannot attend, contact your instructor(s); you can find their contact info in the Directory.
π Keep an eye out for Week of Welcome activities on Monday and Tuesday. Student government and the Student Life team will be on each campus to offer directions, snacks, and an opportunity to make a tie-dye shirt. Check the website for hours.
Wondering where to park or how to get to campus?
- Parking π
- Bus/transit info π
- Bicycle parking π²
Need to find your class schedule? Go to myRogue and look for “Printable Studentβs Schedule” in Registration Resources. Campus maps are available on the website and an interactive map is available on the campus app.
π₯οΈ Taking an online class? Note that ZOOM classes meet online at a specific time (it’s on your schedule) and WEB classes do not have a meeting time, but you still need to check in weekly for assignments and deadlines.
Blackboard is our learning management system for online classes. Your course syllabus and other information will be available on the first day of term: Monday, Sept. 25.
π Find your books on the Ambassador Bookstore website. If you receive financial aid, you may be able to use it to pay for your books; this will show as your School Authorized Spending Limit on the bookstore website. You may be able to find used textbooks for sale on the campus app, or check with the RCC Library to see if they have the books you need.
See you next week!
