RCC is once again hosting the World Day event at Riverside Campus on May 21, 2024 and we hope you can join us! The full name of the global celebration is World Day for Cultural Diversity and Development. Events are meant to highlight the richness of the world’s cultures and also the essential role of intercultural dialogue for achieving peace and sustainable development.
RCC’s celebration is co-sponsored by ASG, Diversity Programming Board and Latino Services. The event is free, open to the public and will include exhibitors and performers showcasing different cultures and heritage. Free international foods and activities will be offered as well. - Location: RCC Riverside Campus outside (S. Bartlett Street between 8th & 9th Streets will be blocked off to traffic). In the event of inclement weather, the event will be moved indoors to the Higher Education Center.
